In a quarry above Lommiswil is the largest track field of quadrupedal dinosaurs in Europe. At least nine tracks with more than 400 dinosaur footsteps can be seen there. From a secured viewing platform, the 145 million year old tracks of the Brachiosaurus can be observed. Information boards inform about the formation of the tracks. The quarry itself is closed due to falling rocks. An exhibition on the site is also located in the Solothurn Nature Museum.
