Der Kurs erhellt Hintergründe, Zusammenhänge und Erfolgsaussichten eines potenziellen Deals – einschliesslich der Folgen für die Schweiz.
Der mit grossem Erfolg gewählte neue US-Präsident Trump verkündete bereits lange vor seinem Amtsantritt, dass er den Konflikt in der Ukraine innert «24 Stunden» beenden könne.
Eine derartige Aussage ist zwar – zumindest in zeitlicher Hinsicht – völlig unrealistisch. Sie widerspiegelt aber das Bestreben, mittels eines «Deals» der bewaffneten Auseinandersetzung möglichst rasch Einhalt zu gebieten. Selbst wenn dies gelänge, dürfte es bis zur Umsetzung noch längere Zeit dauern.
